The hard part is deciding that you want a web
presence for your practice. The rest is easy. You want to hire
Medical Web Design to create your website with as much or as little
involvement as you would like. What happens? Where do we
start? How do I get from wanting a website for my present and future
patients to view to having an active website created by Medical Web Design
on the internet?
Many people are intimidated just by the idea
of getting a website, simply because they don't know what it entails and
what they will have to do.
Medical Web Design makes the process painless
because I do the work for you. Some clients want to be intimately involved
and provide all of the information and pictures which will be on the site.
Others just ask for a site, provide a minimal amount of information, and I
do the rest. Either way, how does it work?
Contact me either by calling 410-677-6574 or by emailing me at
sbylax2r@aol.com. I will talk to
you about your needs and develop a preliminary set of site layouts for you
to evaluate so that when we meet for the first time we can review some
possible layouts for your site. I will collect information about your
type of practice that is available online and incorporate links into the
site to sources of information important to your type of practice. I
will request that you provide me with whatever materials you would like to
put online as well as any marketing materials you already have.
Once I receive your materials, I begin
designing a more customized home page. I create most of the sites in
Microsoft Front Page 2002 with extensive use of Adobe Photoshop and
Macromedia Fireworks, and subtle use of JAVA Applets as well as stylish use
of Macromedia Flash Animations. I will meet with you to present the
updated layout. I can come to your practice to take photographs to put on
the site if you do not have pictures. Once you are satisfied with the
look and feel of the Home Page, I will complete designing the rest of the
site.
While this is happening, I will be
registering a Domain Name (your internet address) and contacting a host
server such as Delmarva Online to get a spot on their server for your site.
Once design of your site is completed and accepted, I will make it
live. This means that when someone types in your domain name into
their browser, your site comes up on their computer. I then begin the
search engine optimization process.
This can take as little as two weeks.
The rate limiting step is you making the decision for Medical Web Design to
make your website or waiting for you to provide me with pictures or other
information you want included on your site. So let's get started.
Contact me by calling 410-677-6574 or by email

way to having a site on the World Wide Web.
